ATLAS ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

ATLAS Gestión Medioambiental, SA builds and operates the Catalonia Hazardous Waste Deposit, an activity declared a public service by the Generalitat de Catalunya. Atlas Gestión Medioambiental S.A. it is 50% owned by FCC ámbito SA in charge of industrial waste management and 50% by the company TRADEBE division also in charge of industrial waste management.

This depot manages all hazardous waste generated in Catalonia, where the final destination of the waste is controlled disposal, in accordance with current regulations. There is an Environmental Monitoring Commission, chaired by the Mayor of Castellolí and the Manager of the Waste Agency of Catalonia, to ensure the correct operation of the facility.

ATLAS is a company that manages the only controlled special waste deposit in Catalonia, covering the special waste management needs of the Catalan industry for approximately the next 17 years.

The entire facility has a perimeter enclosure with a single access door to the general enclosure, controlled from offices.
